Join us as you sit in on a real client meeting with commentary from the financial planner – Hannah Moore, CFP®️.

In this seventh planning session, Hannah Moore, CFP®, focuses on the intricacies of tax planning, Roth conversions, and insurance coordination. Through live modeling with planning software, she demonstrates how financial strategies connect across multiple areas — from tax withholding to qualified business deductions, and from Roth timing to cash prioritization. Hannah’s thoughtful facilitation shows how rapport, timing, and clear communication help clients understand complex topics and make confident financial decisions.

Course learning objectives:

  • Identify the importance of reviewing baseline assumptions when using financial planning software with clients.
  • Analyze the strategic benefits and timing considerations of Roth conversions within a broader tax planning context.
  • Assess how client readiness, behavior, and questions can inform the delivery and timing of financial planning recommendations.
  • Evaluate the use of live client data (e.g., paystubs, withholdings) and paraplanner support in generating accurate quarterly tax projections.
  • Recognize behavioral patterns—such as automation or systems thinking—that influence a client’s likelihood of successfully implementing financial strategies.
