You’ll see how Hannah models both technical guidance and emotional intelligence, helping clients reflect on their experiences and navigate complex decisions in a supportive, relationship-centered environment. By blending expertise with empathy and clear communication, this course demonstrates what holistic financial planning looks like in practice.

Course learning objectives:

  • Evaluate a client’s current insurance coverage and identify opportunities for improved risk management through disability and life insurance planning.
  • Interpret client experiences and emotional responses to guide long-term care planning recommendations.
  • Demonstrate effective use of planning tools and software to illustrate projections, taxes, and Roth conversion timelines.
  • Explain the relationship between tax strategy, insurance coverage, and education funding.
  • Recognize how engaging family members in planning conversations can enhance client trust and generational planning outcomes.

This course has been accepted by the CFP Board and 2.5 CFP Board CE hours may be earned. Additionally, students who complete this (Keith and Beth 6) course can submit their experience hours and proof of completion to the CFP Board for 50 standard pathway experience hours and 25 AFC experience hours.
