According to Cerulli Associates...

Firms & planners who serve women well are on track to build something that lasts.

Projections show that $54 trillion in wealth will pass to widowed spouses by 2048. Nearly $40 trillion of these spousal transfers will be going to widowed women. On top of that, women already control a third of U.S. personal wealth. That number is expected to increase during this "Great Wealth Transfer."

The next twenty years present a huge opportunity for financial planners and their firms... IF you're ready to serve women well.
However, studies show that women are not finding the support they need from professionals.
What to know:

About 14% of women leave their advisors after they become widows*

Women leave their financial advisors in disproportionate numbers after a major life transition — not because of poor performance, but because the relationship wasn't there. They didn't feel seen. They felt like they were stepping into someone else's plan with an advisor who had never really spoken to them directly.

6%

of widowed women had regularly met with a financial advisor while their spouse was alive.

1/2

of all women who become widowed in the U.S. are under 59

79

the average life expectancy for women, and many of them will spend two decades managing their finances alone, often for the first time.

The planning need is real and urgent. So is the opportunity.

* Some studies show that up to 80% of widows leave their advisors.

There is so much opportunity for those who serve women clients well. And it belongs to every planner — not just those who specialize in women's wealth.

It's not just about women serving women...

This masterclass is for every planner who wants a stronger practice

If you want to build a practice that grows through referrals, retains clients through transitions, and earns trust across generations, learning to serve women clients well is not optional. It's the best overarching strategy for your firm.

This course is for CFP® professionals and practicing advisors who are serious about doing this work well. It is especially
designed for men who want to understand their client base better, and for any advisor who has wondered what they might be missing in the room with women clients — or clients who experience the world differently than you.

The Women & Wealth Masterclass offers 4.5 hours CE credit for CFP® professionals — and 2.5 IAR CE. It's open to any planner who wants to serve clients better, regardless of where they are in their career. The only requirement is that you're serious about doing this work well.

Please note: This course does not offer CFP Board or AFCPE experience hours at this time. CFP Board CE hours are available for those who complete all 8 modules and pass all 8 quizzes.

If you can serve women, you can serve anyone.

The skills that create that relationship are the same skills that make a planner exceptional across the board: genuine curiosity, the ability to listen for what isn't being said, the willingness to slow down when it matters.

That's what you'll learn inside Women & Wealth.

Men: This course is for you!

This course is for men, not just women. We mean that — and we want to say it directly, because too many men see "women and wealth" in a title and assume it's not for them. Or worse, that it's going to spend eight modules telling them what they've been doing wrong.

That's not what this is.

This course is built around a simple premise: if you can learn to serve women clients well, you can serve anyone. The skills Cary teaches — how to listen differently, how to ask the question underneath the question, how to build trust with someone who has been underserved or overlooked in a financial relationship before — are not women's skills.

They're planner skills. And the advisors who develop them, regardless of gender, are the ones who build practices that last. We want that to be you!

Women are navigating some of the most important financial moments of their lives... and they need planners who actually know how to show up for them.

The Women & Wealth Masterclass gives you the frameworks, language, and real-world tools to build the kind of trust that makes women — and all clients — stay, refer, and come back for decades.

A note from Hannah Moore, CFP®

When I started thinking about who should teach the first guest course in our library, I thought about it for a long time. We are selective about the voices we amplify. It had to be someone who wasn't talking about this profession theoretically. Someone who had spent decades in the room with real clients, figuring out what works and what doesn't, and who was willing to push the profession to do better.

That's Cary.

I've followed her work for years. What impressed me most wasn't her credentials — though they're extraordinary. It was that she has built a genuinely successful career on a foundation most planners haven't built at all: a deep, studied, honest understanding of how women experience financial advice.

The profession is at a turning point. Technology is automating more of what planners used to do manually, and the planners who thrive will be the ones whose real differentiator is their ability to connect with people, listen, and tobuild trust with someone who has never fully trusted a financial professional before.

Those skills aren't soft. They're the future. And Cary has spent 25 years building them.

This course exists because I believe the planners who go through it will show up differently for their women clients, and for every client they serve. I am proud to have Cary's voice in this community. I think you will be too.
